About the PGCB Speakers Bureau

The work of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will have an impact on the lives of all Commonwealth residents. The establishment of a gaming industry will provide tax relief, increased economic opportunities, and a needed boost to the horse racing industry.

The PGCB has an interest in making sure that citizens are well-informed of the impact that controlled gaming will have in Pennsylvania. To facilitate that mission, we have created a Speakers Bureau to provide face-to-face interaction with organizations that want to learn more about the work of this agency and the gaming industry.

Speakers are provided free of charge, however, travel reimbursement may be requested. In addition, a minimum of 30 attendees for your event is expected.

To request a speaker, please complete the speakers bureau request form including an idea of the topic that would be of interest to your group. These topics can include, but are not limited to, history and operation of the PGCB, human resource issues, compulsive gambling, gaming and the horse racing industry, enforcement, legal and regulatory matters, and technology. After your submission, a member of the PGCB staff will be in contact and discuss your request.

Requests for speakers must be made at least one month in advance. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will make every attempt to fulfill a speaking engagement invitation, but may need to decline due to availability of staff or other reasons of conflict.
