Mozelle E. DanielsMozelle E. Daniels was appointed Deputy Chief Counsel of Administration/Director of Diversity of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in August of 2006. On June 20, 2008, in addition to her duties as Director of Diversity, Ms. Daniels began serving as Special Counsel to the Executive Director. Prior to joining the Gaming Board, Mozelle served as a Senior Deputy Attorney General in charge of the Philadelphia Regional Office of the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 1981 and her law degree from Howard University in 1984. She is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia County Bar Association, Dauphin County Bar Association and the Philadelphia Lawyers’ Club. She is a 2008 graduate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Leadership Development Institute for Women in State Government. Ms. Daniels has served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia and a Special Assistant Public Defender for Montgomery County. She has also served as an Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Daniels’ legal career has afforded her the opportunity to practice both civil and criminal law as a sole practitioner.
