Chief Enforcement Counsel

Cyrus Pitre was appointed as the Director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s Office of Enforcement Counsel on September 6, 2007. Prior to his appointment as Chief Enforcement Counsel, Cyrus served as the PGCB’s Deputy Chief Enforcement Counsel for the Eastern Region. Cyrus has served as a regulatory prosecutor in the gaming industry for more than fifteen years in three different jurisdictions, through appointments in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Louisiana. Prior to his employment with the PGCB, Cyrus served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, an Assistant Attorney General with the Louisiana Division of Gaming, and was in private practice. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Louisiana. Cyrus earned his juris doctorate degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana.
