PA GAMING CONTROL BOARD ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR CONTINUATION OF PITTSBURGH AND PHILADELPHIA LICENSING HEARINGS
HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced when particular operator licensing applicants from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will continue licensing hearings begun in November. All hearings will be held in the State Museum Auditorium, located at the corner of Third and North streets in Harrisburg.
A total of four hearings, two each from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, remained open so that the Board would receive additional testimony from the applicants.
The Board made these changes:
• The Monday, December 4th Board meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. rather than 1:00 p.m.
• The Mt. Airy #1, LLC hearing will be opened on Monday December 4th at 3:30. The public presentation and Board questioning of this applicant will be held in the afternoon of December 5th, the previously announced time.
The entire revised schedule is as follows:

About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of gambling involving 17 land-based casinos, online casino games, retail and online sports wagering, and Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) at qualified truck stops, along with the regulation of online fantasy sports contests.
The land-based casino industry in Pennsylvania consists of six racetrack (Category 1) casinos, five stand-alone (Category 2) casinos, two resort (Category 3) casinos and four mini-casinos (Category 4). A significant job generator in the Commonwealth, casinos and the other types of Board-regulated gaming generated $2.8 billion in tax revenue and fees in 2024/25.
