In September 2025, Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward appointed Christopher W. Huffman to a two-year term as a Commissioner on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Christopher is an attorney and resident of Greensburg, Westmoreland County. Since 1994, he has operated in the general practice of law as sole practitioner of his own firm in Greensburg. Prior to that, Christoper worked as an attorney in the Westmoreland County Public Defenders Office and clerked for Judge Eunice Ross in the Court of Common Pleas in Allegheny County.

A graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic and Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Christopher earned his law degree at the University of Dayton School of Law.

Christopher has also been very involved in the local community serving as the founding member of the Belle Vernon Drug Task Force and as a coach for youth sports.
