PGCB Meeting Room 

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has a meeting space that can be reserved for use by Commonwealth agencies. This document provides details about the room such as seating capacity, audio and video capabilities, a calendar of availability, and how to reserve the room.

 

Directions to the Room Location

The PGCB meeting room is located on the second floor of Strawberry Square, next to the food court. The address is 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. There is an elevator just outside the main entrance to accommodate people with disabilities. Public restrooms are also available in the food court area.

 

The meeting room is protected with badge access. Reach out to the PGCB Office of Communications at 717-346-8321 to arrange a time to meet so that the doors will be opened for you prior to your meeting. Please arrive thirty minutes prior to your reservation. 

Floor Plan and Capacity

 

The board meeting room can accommodate 100 people with modular seating. Additional seating is provided for up to eight presenters at the front of the room and seven additional speakers seated on the raised dais.

Audio and Video Conferencing Capability

The room is equipped with a complete sound system, including a zoned speaker system (front, middle, back) and up to 15 fixed microphones and one wireless microphone.

 

Video may be shared using Microsoft Teams or Zoom (if the user has a Zoom account). Meetings can be recorded using Teams. 

 

A laptop must be provided to share content such as a PowerPoint presentation. The laptop is connected via HDMI cable (provided in the room).  Additionally, the room can be used for Teams or Zoom attendees (through your Zoom account).

 

Additional Details

  • There are six TVs in the room.

  • There are six microphones on the front speaker table and two on a side table, plus one wireless microphone.

  • There are seven microphones on the raised dais.

 

Network Capabilities

Public Wi-Fi - A Comcast router with public Wi-Fi is available.

COPA-Campus Wi-Fi - The Enterprise wireless network that bridges participating agencies’ networks to allow wireless roaming capability, is also available for state employee use only.

 

Streaming

YouTube streaming capability is available; however, a discussion with appropriate staff is required prior to the meeting. Participants should schedule this discussion at least 30 days in advance with PGCB staff to ensure the board meeting room system can meet your streaming needs.
