Gregg J. Hazzouri was named Director of Casino Compliance on November 18, 2023. As Director of Casino Compliance, he is responsible for continuous regulatory oversight of land-based gaming within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Bureau of Casino Compliance has staff assigned to licensed facilities around-the-clock to monitor gaming activities, as well as assisting patrons with disputes or issues to provide a fair and safe gaming environment.

Joining the Board in 2009, Gregg was the Senior Auditor with the Bureau of Gaming Operations for 11 years. He was tasked with leading audit teams to perform audits on all licensed facilities and gaming activity within the Commonwealth. Along with his audit function, he was involved in the roll out of gaming tables at three licensed facilities and assisted in the launch of six iGaming and sports wagering sites. In August of 2020, he transferred to the Bureau of Casino Compliance and functioned as site supervisor at Mohegan Pennsylvania and the Central Region Deputy Director before assuming the role as Director. With a diverse knowledge of gaming, he was involved in five casino openings and led the Board’s opening team for the Parx Shippensburg facility.

Prior to joining the Board, Gregg worked with the PA Treasury Department as an Abandoned and Unclaimed Property Auditor from 2000-2009. He is proud of his degrees from Duquesne University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in English.
