Claire B. Yantis was named Administrative Director of the PGCB in December 2016. In this role, Claire is responsible for the administrative needs of the agency including Information Technology, Human Resources, Financial Management, Office Services, Communications, Records Retention, Right-to-Know, as well as oversight of the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling, and the Gaming Laboratory.

Claire has over 20 years of public service including 8 years as the agency’s Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining the PGCB in November of 2008, Claire served as a Human Resources Director for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.

Claire has a B.A. in Political Science from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and has achieved certifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution Conflict Coaching and Labor Relations Studies Collective Bargaining from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Claire is also a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources from both the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.
