Causes consternation at Penna. Gaming Control Board

Harrisburg, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has noticed a recent 10, 20 and 30 fold increase in hits to its Press Releases on the website.  Beginning approximately June 3rd and continuing even today, computer systems identified as Bloomberg Financial domain IPs continued to read and re-read PGCB's most recent three press releases EVERY FEW MINUTES, causing their statistiical reports on the number of visitors to view each press release to skyrocket and become hopelessly inaccurate.

The PGCB will be seeking to remedy this problem by REQUESTING THAT BLOOMBERG STOP this practice.  Potential remedies include redirecting them to the same DROLL PRESS RELEASE ABOUT THEM.

Hopefully someone there will see this message...and GET THE MESSAGE that their spider bots are causing issues with a Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website and the PGCBs statistics.
