John J. McNally, IIIJohn J. McNally III was appointed to a two-year term on the Gaming Control Board by Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representative Sam Smith on February 26, 2013. McNally is a partner in the Harrisburg law firm of Thomas, Thomas, and Hafer, is a past president of the Dauphin County Bar Association, and a charter member of the Capitol Area Managing Partners Diversity initiative. John was twice elected as Secretary of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania. In 2011 he was appointed to the Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board, where he serves on the Council for the Workforce of Tomorrow. The board is responsible for providing policy guidance, direction and recommendations for improving the state's workforce system. He has also been a board member for the March of Dimes and the Humane Society of Harrisburg, and is a member of the Saint Thomas More Society. A married father of three, Commissioner McNally earned his bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law.
