PA Table Games Revenue Up 3.3% In February

Overall casino gaming revenues down 5% during month

HARRISBURG, PA:  Despite continued harsh weather, revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos rose 3.25% to $57.1 million in February 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  Table games revenue last February was $55,348,241.

The monthly report, posted on the Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, also shows that $8,269,771 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this February.

Due to a decrease in slot machine revenue of 7.5% in February, combined revenue from the play of slot machines and tables games during February was $238,326,952 a decrease of 5% over last February’s total of $251,293,452.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board was established in 2004 with the passage of Act 71, also known as the Race Horse Development and Gaming Act.
