HARRISBURG:    The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that the period to provide written public comment in the Philadelphia Category 2 licensing matter has been extended to December 31, 2013.  The end date had previously been November 28, 2013.

HARRISBURG, PA:   The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Wednesday levied fines totaling $290,000 against three casinos.

The fines were the result of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holders which were approved by the Board at its public meeting in Harrisburg.

HARRISBURG, PA:  Revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos was $60.6 million in October 2013, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represents a 9.5% increase in revenue from table games play during October of this year compared to October of 2012.

HARRISBURG:    The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced it has made available a report developed by the City of Philadelphia, titled “Economic and Fiscal Impacts Analysis of Six Philadelphia Casino Proposals” on its website for public view.

HARRISBURG:    The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced it has made available to the public revised independent reviews of traffic impact studies for each of the six applicants for the Philadelphia casino license.

HARRISBURG, PA:  Revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos was $57.1 million in September 2013, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represents a 3.6% decrease in revenue from table games play during September of this year compared to September of 2012.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during September.

According to the report, September gross revenue from slot machines, at the 12 operating casinos, was $187,803,113 or 6.3% lower when compared to the $200,465,589 in gross revenue generated in September 2012. Tax revenue in September of this year was $100,658,385.
