The report provides a breakdown on fees collected from the play of Pennsylvania participants, Fantasy Sports Contests Operators adjusted revenue, and tax revenue due to the Commonwealth. HARRISBURG, PA: While gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during August 2018 was slightly down, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today that total gaming revenue, the combination of slot machine and table games revenue, was up 2.8% compared to August of last year.

Harrisburg, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board handed down a fine for $50,000 today to Downs Racing, L.P., operator of Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino in Luzerne County, for intoxicated patron incidents.

The fine was the result of Board approval at its public meeting of a consent agreement between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino operator.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 to gather evidence, including public comment, on the renewal of the Category 1 Slot Machine Operator’s license for Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, LLC, operator of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course located in Dauphin County.

The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the East Hanover Township Municipal Building, 8848 Jonestown Road in Grantville, Pennsylvania.

HARRISBURG, PA: Figures released and posted today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on its web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, display tables games revenue for July  2018 at $73,820,267 a decrease of 5.2% over July of last year when revenue was $77,855,644.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today awarded Interactive Gaming Certificates to three casino license holders.

The approvals were the first made by the Board for Interactive Gaming in its plan to consider all nine petition requests by casino operators at its August, September and two October 2018 public meetings. The Board has yet to establish a date in which Interactive Gaming will commence.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today approved the change of control of the Category 1 Slot Machine License for Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie County.

Under the agreement approved by the Board at its public meeting, the license, held since 2014 by Eldorado Resorts, Inc. will be transferred to Churchill Downs, Inc., a publicly traded company based in Louisville, KY.
