HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today launched a month-long public-comment period on draft regulations governing the vendors that will provide non-gaming goods and services to gaming facility operators in the Commonwealth.

“Act 71 gives the Board the ‘power and duty’ to adopt the regulations necessary to bring expanded gaming to Pennsylvania and ensure its integrity,” said Board Chairman Tad Decker. “With each set of regulations we develop, we move a step closer to the day when expanded gaming can begin in the Commonwealth.”

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, charged by statute with overseeing the implementation and regulation of expanded gaming in the Commonwealth, today agreed to accept applications for “Conditional Category 1” operating licenses through Oct. 31, 2005. Application forms, and instructions for completing the applications, will be posted on the Board’s Web site, www.pgcb.state.pa.us, within a week.

PHILADELPHIA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, charged by statute with implementing and regulating the expansion of gaming in the Commonwealth, today unanimously approved regulations governing Category 2 and Category 3 gaming facilities and those governing the Board’s chief enforcement arm, the Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has extended the deadline for submission of applications for conditional Category 1 operating licenses to Dec. 28, 2005, from the previously announced deadline of Oct. 31, 2005.
