HARRISBURG, PA:   The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during September.

HARRISBURG, PA:  The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today released its 7^th Annual Diversity Report providing a description of each casino’s activities related to the implementation of their diversity plans and the action taken by the entities to achieve the Commonwealth’s goal of enhanced representation of diverse groups in the gaming industry. 

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos was $66.4 million in August 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represented a 4.6% increase in revenue from table games play during August of this year compared to August of 2013.

The monthly report, posted on the Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, also shows $9.6 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this August.

HARRISBURG, PA:  The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that August gross revenue from slot machine play at the 12 operating casinos was $210,006,849 and generated $111,954,538.95 of tax revenue to the Commonwealth. 

That gross revenue amount was  over 2% higher than revenue generated from slot machines in August 2013 when revenue hit $205,374,891, and was the first month over month increase in slot revenue since October 2013.

Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $61.1 million in July 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represented a 1.93% increase in revenue from table games play during July of this year compared to July of 2013.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied a fine $58,000 against SugarHouse HSP Gaming, LP, for allowing a number of slot machines at its Philadelphia casino to operate at paytable settings different from reported to the Board.

The fine was the result of a review by the Board’s Gaming Laboratory Operations which uncovered the discrepancy and led to today’s approval by the Board of a consent agreement between its Office of Enforcement Counsel and SugarHouse HSP Gaming.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today unanimously voted to renew the Category 1 casino operator’s license of Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, operator of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Dauphin County.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that July gross revenue from slot machine play at the 12 casinos was $201,416,899 generating $107,535,711 of tax revenue to the Commonwealth. 

That amount was 1.7% lower than revenue generated from slot machines in July 2013 when revenue was $204,909,480.
