HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today posted on its website the revenue figures for July table games play at the eleven operating casinos.

With an average of 1,037 tables in daily operation statewide during July, gross revenue from the play of all table games was $56,482,941. That amount was 1.8% higher than in July 2011 when revenue totaled $55,475,411 with an average of 911 tables operating on a daily basis.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that July gross revenue from slot machine play at the 11 operating casinos was $212,871,833 generating $115,253,719 of tax revenue to the Commonwealth.

That amount was 2.49% lower than revenue generated from slot machines in July 2011 when revenue hit $218,300,465. However, the July 2011 figure was boosted by a fifth full weekend (Friday through Sunday) of business compared to just four full weekends in July of this year.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) today levied a $45,000 fine against Washington Trotting Association, Inc. for permitting four underage persons to gamble at its facility, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, earlier this year.

In addition, a fine of $5,000 was levied by the Board on Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc., operator of the Parx Casino, for doing business with a prohibited gaming service provider.

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $57.1 million in June 2012, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. That represented a 15.5% increase in revenue from table games during June of this year compared to June of 2011.

The June figure boosted table games revenue during the 2011/12 Fiscal Year to $663.9 million, an increase of 30.8% over the previous state Fiscal Year.

By law, the licensed casino must be located in the City of Philadelphia subject to certain mileage parameters.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported on its web site today that tax revenue produced from the play of slot machines during the 12-month period ending June 30, 2012 totaled $1,345,087,522, an increase of 4.76% from the same period in 2010-11 when tax revenue was $1,283,992,674.

With an average of 1,031 tables in daily operation statewide during May, gross revenue from the play of all table games was $55,219,978. That amount was 7.4% higher than in May 2011 when revenue totaled $51,401,083 with an average of 891 tables operating on a daily basis.

HARRISBURG, PA:  The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today reported that the play of slot machines at the eleven operating casinos produced $212,457,169 in gross revenue in May 2012 compared to $205,532,236 during May of last year, an increase of 3.4%.  That resulted in a return of $114,928,891 in taxes to Pennsylvania citizens during May, an average of $3.7 million of taxes collected per day.
