HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied fines against four casino operators totaling $157,000 for various violations.

All of the fines were the result of Board approvals of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holders.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today on its web site that total revenue generated through the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during February was down 9.2% compared to the amount generated a year ago.

According to the report, this February's gross revenue at the eleven operating casinos from slot machine play was $195,945,210 compared to $215,687,739 of gross revenue in February 2012. Tax revenue generated in February of this year just from slot machine play was $105,113,514.

HARRISBURG, PA: Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc, operator of the Parx Casino in Bucks County, agreed to fines totaling $25,000 for two separate matters, one in which an underage individual was permitted entry onto the gaming floor and gambled, and the other stemming from a failure of the company to disclose to the Board the existence of a service agreement.

The fines were the result of approvals today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holder.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today approved the petition of Woodlands Fayette, LLC., operator of the yet-to-be opened Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin in Fayette County, to conduct table games.

Today’s decision followed a public hearing held in Wharton Township on February 7, 2013 that permitted testimony from Woodlands Fayette on their table games plan along with input from the public. 

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that gross revenue from gambling at table games in the Commonwealth’s casinos was $59,378,324, a 12% increase over January 2012 when revenue totaled $52,980,494.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today on its web site that total revenue generated through the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during January was down just over 1% compared to the amount generated a year ago.

According to the report, this January’s gross revenue at the eleven operating casinos from slot machine play was $188,244,599 compared to $190,517,561 of gross revenue in January 2012, a decrease of 1.19%. 

HARRISBURG, PA: Total gross revenue from the play of slot machines and table games at Pennsylvania’s 11 casinos during calendar year 2012 was 4.4% higher than revenue generated in 2011, according to figures released today by the Gaming Control Board.

Combined gross revenue from casino gaming was $3,158,317,863 in 2012 which produced tax revenue in the amount of $1,441,789,220.

HARRISBURG, PA:  The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that it would hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 7, 2013 to gather evidence in the form of public comment, on the petition submitted by Woodlands Fayette, LLC, in Fayette County requesting authorization to conduct table games at Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin.

Woodlands Fayette, LLC was awarded a Category 3 Slot Operator License in April, 2011 and anticipates opening Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin later this year and offering both slot machine and table games gambling.
