HARRISBURG, PA:  The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today that the difference in slot machine revenue generated at casinos during May of this year was less than 1% compared to May of 2013.

The complete casino by casino revenue report, which can be found on the Board’s web site www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, indicates that the 12 casinos generated slot machine revenue of $210,830,677, just 0.20% less than in May of 2013 when revenue was $211,245,136.

HARRISBURG, PA:   The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on Wednesday levied fines totaling $22,500 for three regulatory violations against Chester Downs and Marina, LLC, operator of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack in Delaware County.

All of the fines were a result of Board-approved consent agreements between the casino operator and the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that revenue from the play of table games at Pennsylvania casinos during April of 2014 was up 1% over revenue generated last year.

According to a report posted today on the Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, April’s gross table games revenue generated by 12 casinos was $62,184,790 or $632,456 higher than in April 2013 when revenue totaled $61,552,334.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today on its web site that the collective slot machine revenue produced at the 12 casinos during April dropped 3.6% compared to the same month last year.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today unanimously voted to renew the Category 2 casino operator’s license of Sands Bethworks, LLC, operator of Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem in Northampton County.

The seven member Board determined that Sands Bethworks had fulfilled the obligations under its current casino operator’s license and therefore qualified to have its license renewed. The new license is good for a three-year period.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is reminding citizens, community group leaders and public officials that the deadline to register to speak at the May 8, 2014 public input hearing regarding a casino license for the proposed Lawrence Downs Casino and Racing Resort is noon on May 6^th. 

HARRISBURG, PA:  Revenue from the play of table games at Pennsylvania’s casinos rose 1% during March, producing the highest level of revenue, $67.9 million, since the introduction of this form of gambling in July 2010.

According to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, table games revenue totaled $67,934,737 in March 2014, eclipsing the previous high month during March of last year at $67,383,247.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today released its seventh annual Racetrack Casino Benchmark Report.  Since its first release in 2008, this annual report has concentrated on the impact of Pennsylvania casinos on the state’s horse racing industry.

HARRISBURG, PA:   The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today on its web site that total revenue generated through the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during March was down 5.7% compared to the amount generated a year ago.

According to the report, this March’s gross revenue from slot machine play at the twelve casinos was $216,213,980 compared to $229,335,372 of gross revenue in March 2013. Tax revenue generated in March of this year just from slot machine play was $115,684,705.

HARRISBURG, PA:  Despite continued harsh weather, revenue from table games play at the 12 Pennsylvania casinos rose 3.25% to $57.1 million in February 2014, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  Table games revenue last February was $55,348,241.

The monthly report, posted on the Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, also shows that $8,269,771 million in tax revenue was generated from table games this February.
