ALLENTOWN: Tad Decker, Chairman of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, today commented on the conclusion of 18 days of public-input hearings across the state on 22 applications submitted to the Gaming Control Board for the 14 gaming licenses the Board is empowered by statute to award. The final hearing was held today in Allentown.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will hold a public meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday June 28, 2006, in Hearing Room #1 of the North Office Building, Commonwealth Avenue and North Street, in Harrisburg.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today began 5-day public-comment periods on four sets of draft regulations: Emergency Board Orders; Labor Organizations; Employee Status Reports; and Omnibus Regulation Changes.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced the schedule of Licensing Hearings on the six applications it received for conditional Category 1 gaming licenses.

The hearings, which will be open to the public, will take place in Harrisburg on Aug. 7-9, 2006, in the Auditorium of the State Museum Building, 3rd and North streets. The order of hearings was randomly chosen.

The times and dates of the hearings are:

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today voted unanimously to approve regulations governing suppliers of slot machines and associated equipment in the Commonwealth. Under these regulations, suppliers will operate on a statewide basis.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today voted unanimously to approve licenses for three companies that filed applications to be manufacturers of slot machines and associated equipment in the Commonwealth. Separately, the Board voted unanimously to approve licenses for 12 companies that filed applications to be suppliers of slot machines and associated equipment.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will hold a public meeting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 9, 2006, in the Auditorium of the State Museum Building, at the corner of Third and North streets, in Harrisburg. The public and the media are invited to attend. This public meeting will take place after the conclusion of licensing hearings on conditional Category 1 gaming applicants already scheduled for Aug. 9.

The public meeting originally scheduled for Thursday Aug. 3, 2006, has been canceled.
