HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that new applications for grants for law enforcement agencies to investigate violations and enforce laws relating to unlawful gambling in the Commonwealth can be submitted for review beginning March 15, 2012.

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue generated through the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during February 2012 increased 8.97% compared to the amount generated in February of last year.

HARRISBURG, PA: The play of table games during January at Pennsylvania casinos generated tax revenue of more than $8.6 million, according to figures posted today on the Gaming Control Board’s web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today fined a New Jersey-based slot machine manufacturer for the late annual submission of required financial documents.

The fine of $16,800, levied against Atlantic City Coin and Slot Service Company, Inc., was for failure to submit audited financial statements to the Board’s Bureau of Licensing. The amount was established through a fine of $100 per day for each of the 168 days in which the statements were late. The documents were due April 1, 2011 but not submitted to the Board until September 15, 2011.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today approved the petition of Valley Forge Convention Center Partners, L.P., operator of the yet-to-be opened Valley Forge Casino Resort resort casino in Montgomery County, to conduct table games.

Today’s decision followed a public hearing held in King of Prussia on January 11th that permitted testimony from Valley Forge on their table games plan along with input from the public. 

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue generated through the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during January 2012 increased 7.44% compared to the amount generated in January of last year. 

It was the eleventh time in the past twelve months in which monthly slot revenue showed an increase over the previous year.

HARRISBURG: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will begin offering live streaming video of its Board meetings beginning February 8, 2012.

Beginning with the 10:00 a.m. meeting on that day, the public can watch Board meetings in real-time from a link on the home page of the Gaming Control Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov.

The addition of live streaming video supplements the Board's posting of recorded videos of its meetings on its web site. That service will continue.

HARRISBURG, PA: With an additional $55.8 million in revenue in December from table games play at the Commonwealth’s 10 casinos, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today announced that the total combined gaming revenue from slot machines and table games generated in 2011 topped $3 billion for the first time.

 The Board reported today that gross revenue for 2011 was $3,024,772,959 compared to 2010 totals of $2,486,408,061, a year over year increase of 21.65%.
