PA Gaming Control Board Levies Two Fines Totaling $70,000

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (“Board”) approved two consent agreements today presented by its Office of Enforcement Counsel (“OEC”) resulting in total fines of $70,000.
About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of gambling involving 17 land-based casinos, online casino games, retail and online sports wagering, and Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs) at qualified truck stops, along with the regulation of online fantasy sports contests.
The land-based casino industry in Pennsylvania consists of six racetrack (Category 1) casinos, five stand-alone (Category 2) casinos, two resort (Category 3) casinos and four mini-casinos (Category 4). A significant job generator in the Commonwealth, casinos and the other types of Board-regulated gaming generated $2.8 billion in tax revenue and fees in 2024/25.

Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Reports Record Revenue of Nearly $6.4 Billion from Legal Gambling in State Fiscal Year

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (“PGCB”) today reported that revenue generated during the combined Fiscal Year 2024/2025 of gaming it regulates reached a record level of $6,394,641,819.

Gaming Control Board Reports Year-Over-Year 15.4% Increase in Revenue for June 2025

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported today that the combined total revenue generated from all forms of gaming, along with fantasy contests, during June 2025 was $544,672,554, an increase of 15.40% compared to revenue generated in June 2024.
