Merritt C. Reitzel


Merritt C. Reitzel Merritt C. Reitzel was appointed to an initial two-year term to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in September 2017 by Senator Joseph Scarnati, President Pro Tempore of the Pennsylvania Senate and was reappointed to a second two-year term in January 2019. Ms. Reitzel is a resident of Cumberland County where she most recently practiced corporate/business and real estate law with Schiffman, Sheridan & Brown in Harrisburg.

Ms. Reitzel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her law degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She subsequently served as a law clerk to both Bruce F. Bratton of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas and Justice J. Michael Eakin of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Ms. Reitzel is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and is a monitor for the Dauphin County Pro Bono Guardianship Monitoring Program.
