HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has released its 2015-2016 Annual Report in electronic format.  The report can be downloaded by visiting the Gaming Control Board’s web site, gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, and choosing the 2015-2016 PGCB Annual Report link under the Quick Links section of the homepage.

In addition to an encapsulation of statewide casino gaming revenue generated during the fiscal year, the report also highlights:

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that revenue from the play of table games at the state’s casinos during August 2016 was down 3.7% compared to revenue generated for the same time period last year.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied a joint fine of $30,000 against SugarHouse HSP Gaming Co., LP, operator of the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia and Holdings Acquisitions Co. LP, operator of the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today unanimously approved the change of control of the Category 1 Slot Machine license held by Washington Trotting Association, operator of The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Washington County, to Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. and the real estate assets of the facility to Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today posted on its web site the monthly report for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during August.

According to the report, combined gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos fell 4.5% in August of this year to $193,949,367 compared to the $203,026,163 of gross revenue in August 2015. Tax revenue in August of this year was $103,498,951*.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that revenue from the play of table games at the state’s casinos during July 2016 was up 8.5% over revenue generated for the same time period last year.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved a $39,000 fine today against Sands Bethworks Gaming, LLC, operator of the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem for three separate incidents in which persons under the age of 21 were permitted to gain access to the gaming floor.

The fine was a result of the Board’s approval of a Consent Agreement between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and Sands Bethworks Gaming, LLC.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board unanimously voted today to renew the Category 2 Casino Operator’s License of Mount Airy Casino #1, LLC, operator of the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Monroe County.

The seven member Board determined that Mount Airy Casino #1, LLC had fulfilled the obligations under its previously-approved casino operator’s license and therefore qualified to have its license renewed for an additional three-year period.

According to the report, gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos rose 1.1% in July of this year to $213,423,774 compared to the $211,008,864 of gross revenue in July 2015. Tax revenue in July of this year was $113,792,368*.
