HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the Local Impact Reports for each of the six applicants for Philadelphia’s second casino license.

In addition to the Local Impact Reports, the Board also posted an Ownership Structure report to list the proposed ownership for each of the Philadelphia applicants, along with a list of Registered Professional Representatives, such as attorneys and lobbyists, for each applicant.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied fines against three casino operators totaling $65,000 for various violations.

All of the fines were the result of Board approvals of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino license holders.

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $55.3 million in October 2012, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.  That represented a 4.2% increase in gross revenue from table games during October of this year compared to October of 2011.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that it received six applications for the available Category 2 Slot Machine Operator license prior to the close of the application period on Thursday. The Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act mandates that this license be awarded to an applicant that would place the facility in the City of Philadelphia.

A Category 2 stand-alone license enables the casino operator to have up to 5,000 slot machines and 250 tables games.

HARRISBURG, PA: Revenue from table games play at Pennsylvania casinos was $59.3 million in September 2012, according to a report released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. That represented a 15.4% increase in gross revenue from table games during September of this year compared to September of 2011.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied fines totaling $40,000 for the unauthorized use of table games equipment, along with an additional $15,000 for other violations.

The largest of the fines, $18,000, was levied against DEQ Systems Corporation, a Canadian manufacturer of table games and related equipment, for distribution and use of its EZ Track System prior to receipt of its Conditional Manufacturer’s license. EZ Track is an electronic system used in Baccarat.

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today its monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos during September.

According to the report, September gross revenue from slot machines at the 11 operating casinos was slightly higher this year at $200,465,589 than the $200,148,304 in gross revenue generated in September 2011, a difference of less than 1%. Tax revenue in September of this year was $108,338,974.
