Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to Hold Public Input Hearing in Big Beaver Borough on December 4th for Mount Airy's Category 4 Casino Application in Beaver County

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that it will hold a public input hearing on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 in the social room of the Big Beaver Borough Fire Station #14 to collect testimony on the Category 4 casino application submitted by Mount Airy #1, LLC.

The fire station is located at 621 Friendship Road, Darlington, PA 16115.  The hearing begins at 1:00 p.m.

The report provides a breakdown on fees collected from the play of Pennsylvania participants, Fantasy Sports Contests Operators’ adjusted revenue, and tax revenue due to the Commonwealth. PA Casino Revenue Decreases 1% in September

HARRISBURG, PA: Figures released and posted today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on its web site, gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, report that table games revenue for September 2018 at $72,310,207 a decrease of 4.4% over September of last year when revenue was $75,615,712.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Fines Casino $95,000 for Regulatory Violations

HARRISBURG, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved fines today totaling $95,000 against the operator of SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia for table games violations.

The fines were the result of Board approvals at its public meeting of consent agreements between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, L.P.

The township building is located at 1501 Mount Zion Road, York, PA 17402.  The hearing begins at 10:00 a.m.

Casino Revenue Up 2.8% During August

HARRISBURG, PA: While gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during August 2018 was slightly down, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today that total gaming revenue, the combination of slot machine and table games revenue, was up 2.8% compared to August of last year.

Pennsylvania Casino Fined $50,000 by the Gaming Control Board

Harrisburg, PA: The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board handed down a fine for $50,000 today to Downs Racing, L.P., operator of Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino in Luzerne County, for intoxicated patron incidents.

The fine was the result of Board approval at its public meeting of a consent agreement between the PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel and the casino operator.
