T. Mark Mustio

T. Mark Mustio was appointed to a two-year term to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in March 2019 by Speaker of the House Mike Turzai, and reappointed to an additional two-year term in March 2021 by Speaker of the House Bryan Cutler.
Mark served as State Representative in the Pennsylvania General Assembly representing the 44th legislative district from 2003 to 2018. In that office he served as the Majority Chairman of the House Professional Licensure Committee, which maintains jurisdiction over all legislation dealing with the 29 professional and occupational licensing boards located administratively in the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA) in the Department of State. While State Representative, Mark received the 2016 Bob O’Conner Junior Achievement Leadership Award, recognizing his efforts to inspire young people to become involved Junior Achievement volunteer projects in their communities; the Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA) Better Life Award in recognition of his commitment to Pennsylvania’s seniors and their care providers; and the Pittsburgh Airport Chamber’s first “Legislative Legacy” Award given in appreciation of an individual’s legacy of leadership, steadfastness and diligence in working for the region’s residents and businesses.
A graduate of Moon Area School District, Mark went to Grove City College and graduated with a degree in business administration, then gained extensive private sector experience in the insurance industry. He also previously served as an elected Supervisor in Moon Township where he still resides.
