Dante Santoni, Jr. was appointed to an initial two-year term to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in February 2017 by House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody and was reappointed to a second two-year term in November 2018. Dante served as State Representative for the 126th legislative district representing Berks County from 1993 to 2012 and was Chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee during the 2009-2010 legislative session.

Dante is a Muhlenberg High School graduate and was awarded his BS degree in accounting from Villanova University. Prior to being elected to the State legislature, he was a field representative and loan officer for Southeast Farm Credit Services and finance director and township secretary for Muhlenberg Township. After deciding not to run for re-election in 2012, Dante served as Pennsylvania Director for government affairs firm Purple Strategies.

Dante resides in Reading with his wife Sharon and daughters Emma and Lia.
