In February 2017, Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Leader Jay Costa appointed Sean Logan to a two-year term as a Commissioner on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, and was reappointed to additional two-year terms by Senator Costa in January 2019 and January 2021.

Prior to his position with the Board, Sean served a decade in the Pennsylvania State Senate representing the 45th District in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties, then was appointed to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission in July 2013 by Governor Tom Corbett and named Chairman in January 2015 by Governor Tom Wolf.

Previously, Sean was Mayor of Monroeville, Executive Director and CEO of Visit Monroeville, and Vice President of Community Relations for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He continues to serve as Chairman of the UPMC East Board of Directors and a Board member for UPMC McKeesport. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and resides in Plum Borough with his wife Shannon and his two children Ella and Regan.
